Fixing an Atari 65 XE

I have to admit that this is an STE I got from eBay and not the computer I bought in 1989. My Atari was broken one day and I brought it to the repair shop in the neighbor town. Strangely enough I never picked it up again. Hard to understand now. Anyway, this one was pretty cheap (probably cheaper than the repair my old one would have cost me) and came upgraded to 4MB – neat.
Another computer alive again: Amiga 500 with a HxC SD Floppy Emulator running Xenon II – Megablast.
I own two Amiga 500 now and both work, but somehow they are never very reliable when I try to run software from the HxC device. Maybe it’s just them and me knowing that we’re not meant for each other. After all, I was on the Atari ST side of the system flamewars.
“We could explain BYTES using a hand!” “No. A hand only has five fingers.” … “Fuck it!“
Found this one in a book from 1985 about learning machine language. Ah. Those were light-hearted times.
I just learned that the “4Sceners” special on 4players awarded my browser demo “My God, it’s full of Sinus!” in two categories:
That’s amazing, thank you very much! Check out the other fantastic demos too: 4players
